Next Generation Kindergarten (formerly known as Stay, Play and Learn) has been proudly serving the Chester Hill, Punchbowl, and Yagoona local community for over 16 years.
Since March 2022, our childcare centre has been under the leadership of Sarah Benjamin, who brings a fresh vision supported by a passionate and highly motivated team of educators.
We provide a family-grouped long day care program for children aged 0 to 6 years, combining nurturing care with purposeful learning in a warm, inclusive environment.
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, the centre recently underwent an internal renovation to better support our younger age group with age-appropriate facilities and modernised learning spaces.
An external upgrade is also underway, including enhanced security features for safer parent and visitor access.
We cater to children aged 0 to 6 through three structured programs tailored to their unique needs and stages of growth.
As the Founder and CEO of Next Generation Kindergarten, my vision is to recreate the warmth, joy, and wonder I experienced in my own childhood. With over 29 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, as a teacher, coordinator, and leader, I bring deep expertise and passion to nurturing young minds.
I’m dedicated to supporting every child’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth through evidence-based, high-quality education and care.
A strong advocate for children and families, I strive to ensure every child begins life with joy, curiosity, and meaningful experiences that inspire lifelong learning and happiness.
Your First Friendly Visit
We invite you to tour our child care centre and meet our caring team. You will see children learning and playing, and we'll answer all your initial questions right then and there.
Smooth Transition Plan
We take the start slowly. You are welcome to stay during the first few visits so we can help your child settle in and feel comfortable at their own pace.
Daily Communication Updates
Expect a daily chat with your educator plus photos, learning notes, and records of naps/meals sent straight to your phone. You won't miss a moment!
Ongoing Partnership
We believe in working together with you to support your child's growth. Our door is always open to talk about milestones, behaviour, or any concerns you might have.

We accept children from 6 weeks to 6 years.
Yes, we assist families with the CCS process and offer guidance on eligibility.
Most centres operate from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
